LAYER PADS
Durable, and sustainable; made from 100% recycled paper, PALLITE®’s pallet layer pads are designed to provide protection between layers of product during transit or in storage.
Layer pads are also used to improve pallet stability and are the ideal layer board for heavier goods that are stacked on top of each, whether on pallets or another surface. A layer pad is placed between these items to protect them from damage. Our honeycomb paper cardboard layer pads can be cut to bespoke customer sizes for ease of use.
Applications include materials handling in the manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive and FMCG industries.
BETTER PROTECTION IN TRANSIT
What’s more, our honeycomb cardboard layer pads are stronger than corrugate layer sheets or layer pads, more environmentally friendly than Correx or plastic sheets and, more cost effective than mdf and chipboard layer boards. The cell structure of the honeycomb paper also offers better product protection against vibration during transportation.
Layer pads used part way up the stack of product also act to stabilise the load from tipping and will help to evenly distribute weight. At the same time our honeycomb paper layer boards can be used as pallet topper boards to provide a flat surface to double stack, protect product from dirt and dust and reduce the risk of damage when stacking pallets on top of each other.
