THE CHALLENGE
GEODIS required a scalable warehouse storage solution to support a new customer with thousands of SKUs of varying sizes, limited warehouse bay space, and inefficient corrugated tote storage systems.
Existing challenges included poor durability, restricted pick-face access, difficult SKU identification, frequent replacements, and increased picking inefficiencies.
A new durable and highly accessible storage system was implemented to improve space utilization, increase picking efficiency and accuracy, and support both large and small SKUs within a fast-paced e-commerce fulfillment environment.
Tailored PIX™ Storage Solution
PALLITE implemented a tailored PIX™ in-bay storage solution designed to optimize storage across every SKU category.
The installation included PIX™ XL Bin Boxes for larger items and PIX™ SLOTS 32 pick-face units for smaller products, creating a flexible and highly accessible picking environment.
Key benefits included improved SKU visibility and labelling, open-access pick faces for faster picking, configurable layouts, and durable long-life construction. All units were assembled and installed by the GEODIS in-house team.
