As a manufacturer it is our responsibility to try to give back, not take from the planet, to produce our products more ethically and as much as possible preserve the earth’s natural resources, always striving for a more sustainable existence.
To this end, our philosophy is simple; 100% recyclable products manufactured using paper from managed sources which include sustainable warehousing storage solutions, sustainable packaging, sustainable pallets, sustainable shipping crates.

We offer customers environmentally friendly alternatives to many of their distribution product solutions by eliminating possible harmful products including single use plastic packaging, wooden shipping crates, plastic pallets and polystyrene void fill. CONTRIBUTING TO A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
All PALLITE® products are made from just paper and PVA glue so they can be pulped at the paper mills and turned back into recycled paper again and again, adding to a more circular economy. In the UK, we use over 9.9 million tonnes of paper each year. We recycle around 80% of paper in the UK.
REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS
Recycled paper helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that can contribute to climate change. It takes 70% less energy and water and produces 40% less greenhouse gases to manufacture recycled paper than to create virgin paper from trees. Manufacturing with recovered paper cuts down on pollution that contributes to smog.
In the US, the Environmental Protection Agency reports that every ton of recycled paper can spare 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, 4,000 kilowatts of energy, 7,000 gallons of water and three cubic yards of space at the landfill.
MOVING TO A MORE SUSTAINABLE LOGISTICAL SOLUTION
In 2021, the UK transport and warehouse sector generated over 45 thousand tonnes of greenhouse gases. This equates to over 10% of all greenhouse gases emitted by any industrial sector in the UK.

PROVEN TO BE ENVIRONMENTALLY BETTER THAN WOOD
Independent tests have proved that PALLITE® products are less harmful to the environment and contribute less to global warming than wooden alternatives. All our products are made from more than 80% recycled content, and are 100% recyclable or compostable. They are also designed to be reused without losing their strength.
LIGHTWEIGHT ALTERNATIVES TO WOOD
PALLITE® paper pallets weigh from just 4.05kg, making them around 20kg lighter than their wooden counterparts, reducing transit packaging weight by over 80%. Tangible cost savings can be made across entire supply chains with less fuel required when travelling by road, sea or air freight. Lighter loads also help customers reduce Scope 3 emissions.
BESPOKE SIZES TAILORED TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS
PALLITE® products can be manufactured to bespoke sizes quickly and efficiently. From product packaging to a tailor-made shipping crate, all consignments can be designed to fit the space available with no unnecessary transit space. A potential of 28.5% additional product allowance per shipment, saving on total journeys required and reducing the carbon footprint of the consignment.
For example, by using a PALLITE® standard paper pallet, in a road freight scenario travelling 400miles, the potential annual saving of CO2 equates to 57,241 KgCO2e, resulting in £21,694 in fuel costs. This saving would remove 8 cars off the road, 7 houses annual electricity consumption or over 650 trees planted.

Global Megatrends have affected consumers, suppliers, and the global supply chain. There is increased environmental awareness from consumers resulting in greater pressure to choose environmentally friendly solutions for manufacturing, transporting, and storing products.
Eight global supply chains, including the UK, account for more than 50% of annual greenhouse gas emissions. Most of these emissions are embedded in the supply chain. Organisations must start to act more ethically and sustainably to reduce their impact on the environment.
With the increased consumer consciousness, organisations must start to become more transparent in all areas of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), to build brand recognition, trust, and ethical relationships.
